Faultline Vessel
Wheel-thrown from fine porcelain clay, this one-of-a-kind vessel explores tension, fracture, and resilience through texture. Sodium silicate produces a dramatic crackled surface. During shaping, the clay splits and stretches, forming a network of organic fissures across the form. A deep black stain settles into every line and crevice, emphasizing the contrast between shadow and exposed porcelain beneath.
